Opposable Games prescribe puzzle action fun with Embarrassing Bodies: ‘Angry Boils’

Today sees the official launch of Embarrassing Bodies: Angry Boils, the new patient-healing puzzle game from the creators of Embarrassing Bodies. Produced by Maverick in association with Channel 4, and developed by UK developer Opposable Games, the game is a unique and amusing mix of puzzle action that plays host to a clinic full of colourful characters with real-life ailments.

Development Process

Opposable Games worked closely with Maverick and Channel 4 to transform Embarrassing Bodies into a fun, lively and compelling interactive experience. The title remains true to the tone of its unique source material as a result of careful collaboration with the producers and the stars of the show.

TV doctors Christian Jessen, Dawn Harper and Pixie McKenna were bought to life and introduced to the gaming world in style, with voiceovers from the stars themselves and their transformations into interactive characters by the talented artists and animators at Opposable Games.

The development team have made full use of the multi-platform development tool Unity to launch the game simultaneously to iOS, Android, Kindle, and the web.

The clinic is open! Join doctors Christian, Dawn, and Pixie, and their team of specialists, in this fun and fast-paced puzzle-action game. Deploy the right doctors to stop the clinic being overrun with patients suffering from a whole host of conditions!
